Idol groups SECRET and MBLAQ who have decided to make a comeback in Japan, have denied offers from big Japan agencies and has gained many people’s attention.
MBLAQ, who will be making a comeback in Japan at the end of this month, has also chosen a newer agency called Ivy Record. MBLAQ also debuted in Japan in 2011 through Sony Music Japan.
With it being 2-3 years since both groups have made a comeback in Japan, many believed that they would partner with a big agency that would help market their new albums.
However, these two groups chose smaller and newer agencies as they would be able to focus and support the groups more than a bigger and older agency would.
MBLAQ’s agency also commented, “We wanted an agency that would help MBLAQ grow as their agency grew.
